Todd feels he ought to get to know future son-in-regulation Nic higher, so that they take a weekend trip to a resort with Julie, Savannah and Faye. They send each other textual content messages a few fake get together that's being planned at a rooftop bar, knowing that Savannah will learn through Nic's mobile phone and discover the messages. The following day, Todd takes Nic to have a spa therapy, but Nic does not find it interesting, so Todd agrees to let Nic plan the exercise for the following day. Todd, who is a talented player, agrees to enter the contest with Faye, and they ultimately are available in second place. Todd, who is just not all in favour of sports, is initially unsupportive of Savannah's resolution to affix an area football team, till he learns how important it is to her. Todd, who thinks of the marriage as his own creation, angrily ends his involvement in the planning after Nic voices his frustration.
