The music was written on the again of a paper bag. 2. What is the music about? Two of Brown's famous musical maneuvers are discovered in this music. Brown's earlier band was full of seasoned professionals like sax participant Maceo Parker and drummer Clyde Stubblefield. In March 1970, they rebelled towards Brown's harsh treatment and stingy pay, telling him that a change was in order. Everything must change. And we’re not married, we’re free, no matter. Brown made that change himself, replacing them with a younger Cincinnati band led by the Collins brothers - solely drummer Jabo Starks stayed on. Sheryl Crow's "Soak Up The Sun" isn't as lighthearted as it appears: the tune offers with the prevailing head-in-the-sand reaction to local weather change. Films this track has featured in embody City of God, Twisted, Legally Blonde, Friday and The Tuxedo. Despite the title, the tune isn't all that carnal, as "sex machine" is used as a simile for staying on the scene. Freddie Mercury wrote the song for Queen's 1978 album Jazz while staying in Montreux, Switzerland.
