Hi! Bedtime in our house often feels chaotic, and I’m looking for ways to make it more relaxing for both me and my kid. I’ve heard that asking creative bedtime questions can help kids wind down and share their feelings in a fun way. Does anyone know what kind of questions actually work and how to make this a regular habit without it feeling forced?

Hey! I totally get that struggle. I started using bedtime questions after reading some ideas https://www.the-littlest-thistle.com/bedtime-questions-kids/ and honestly, it changed our evenings. Instead of a stressful “go to sleep” routine, it’s become a sweet little talk we both enjoy. I usually ask things like “If you could have any animal as a pet for a day, what would it be?” or “What’s something you’re proud of from today?” It’s amazing how these small talks calm their mind and build trust. Now bedtime feels like bonding time instead of a battle.
